Heart Monitor Watch
A heart monitor watch and a heart rate monitor watch are the same thing, some people just prefer to use one term over another. They are designed to keep a check on how fast or slow your heart is beating per minute. Basically a heart monitor watch is very like a rev counters. Generally one part will be strapped to your chest, and it will transmit your heart rate details to the receiver that is normally a wrist watch.
The majority of heart monitor watches also have alarms that you can set to beep if you go above or below a target level which you have set yourself. You will usually be able to store this information to use in other training sessions.
Heart Rate Monitors are used by many sportsmen and women, both professional and amateur. They are fast becoming essential equipment when you are following exercise and fitness programs, using fitness equipment, and for many other activities like running or cycling.
They are becoming very popular and lots of the major companies like, Nike, Times, Polar etc all have their own heart rate monitor watches.
Our aim is to give you lots of choice and information on the many models that are available, so that you can make an informed choice when you go to buy a heart rate monitor watch.
